Well I had written a medium length post describing today and yesterday but my iPhone must not have deemed it good enough...
Crud. I don't even remember what I wrote any more.
Well we went to an international student party last night, that was fun. I saw a dance off to a remix of a Michael Jackson track, it was cool.
My class is cancelled this afternoon because my teacher (a French-American by way of California) became a grandmother and wishes to visit the new addition to the family, so she left for Belgium.
I have paperwork to turn in and an errand or two to run so I'm going to finish my cappuccino chiantilly and head on my way.
I hope you all have a nice day, French Market is tomorrow so if you're in Indy St Joan of Arc is going to be the place to spend tomorrow.

Thanks for the plug for French Market. Your mother is already out-the-door promoting it. She will be on the air with Abdul. The weather appears to be cooperative with a forecast for sunny skies and temperatures in the 80s.
ReplyDeleteI have had connectivity issues so I wasn't able to get on-line last night. Milan helped fix it this morning. How is your class going?
I am going to get to back to work. Everyone is enjoying your posts.
Autumn speaks softly tonight. The evening is bright and crisp with an edge that hints of fall. Walking outside as you look up you gaze upon a clear sky puntuated with an occasional cloud. Underneath you hear the consistent crunch of those leaves which too easily succumbed to autumn's call.
ReplyDeleteThis is my most favorite season. And the season I most dread. It renews memories of going back to school, homecomings and football games. But later in life I came to understand what it meant to my father. Autumn meant abandonment. Being left along to complete the season's work. Desolation.
You can rejoice in the best of both generations. Autumn can be your time of renewal and re-engagement. While you respect the perspective of others who are closer to treading on winter's edge.
Good night and sleep tight.
